Meet the Team
Doctors by Day. Rally Team by Night.
On the surface, Right/Super Motorsport is a new rally team with a bold goal: to build a 2009 Suzuki Swift Sport into a full FIA Rally5-Kit spec car. But peel back the vinyl, and you’ll find a story that’s about more than just stage times.
The team is piloted by two doctors from the South West. The driver, Peter, is a Foundation Year doctor at Yeovil District Hospital. After shifting his focus from theoretical physics at Cambridge to medicine, he discovered a new, unexpected passion: driving. In just over one month of exploring the winding A-roads of Dorset and the Jurassic Coast, he clocked over 4,000 miles.
The project truly sparked, however, during a conversation with his close friend and colleague, Darragh, a doctor at Dorset County Hospital. As it turns out, Darragh’s father, Desmond "Des" Crossan, was a well-known rally navigator in Ireland’s lively motorsport scene. One thing led to another, and a shared dream was born.
