2. Interactive Hotspots

1. Rollcage

Description: This is the next big step. We need a full, FIA-homologated weld-in cage (likely from Hockley) to make the car stage-legal. Once the cage goes in, we can weld the seat rails super-low for better weight distribution. Until then, it's safety first! Table Data: Original: Standard Chassis Current: Planning Phase Target: FIA Homologated Weld-in Cage
Approved / Edited

2. Interior Modifications

Description: Done! We spent an afternoon stripping everything—trim, carpets, the lot. My living room was full of car parts for weeks! But the difference was instant; the car feels lighter, sharper, and much more nimble on the road. Table Data: Original: Full Road Trim & Carpets Current: Fully Stripped Shell Target: Painted Interior + Carbon Cards
Approved / Edited

3. Safety Components

Description: Safety is non-negotiable. We have a pair of Sparco Evo seats (an Evo L for Darragh) ready and waiting to be fitted as soon as the car is back. Initially, we'll use bolt-in subframes, but they'll be permanently welded in once the rollcage arrives. Table Data: Original: Stock Sport Seats Current: Sparco Evo (Ready to Fit) Target: FIA Seats + 6-Point Harnesses
Approved / Edited

4. Steering

Description: We fitted a Sparco R345 suede steering wheel. The suede gives incredible grip with no slip, and the dish brings the wheel closer to the driver. It was an immediate upgrade in control and "feel" for the car. Table Data: Original: Stock Leather Wheel Current: Sparco R345 Suede Target: Sparco R345 (Complete)
Approved / Edited

5. Suspension

Description: The stock suspension is surprisingly stiff and fun, but the bushings are worn. We're upgrading to polyurethane Powerflex bushings this week to sharpen everything up. Long-term, we're eyeing a full Bilstein or Reiger gravel setup. Table Data: Original: Stock Road Suspension Current: Stock + Powerflex (In Progress) Target: 3-Way Adj. Gravel Dampers
Approved / Edited

6. Brakes

Description: Currently in the workshop! We're fitting Black Diamond G12 discs and PBS ProRace pads all round, plus braided hoses and high-performance PFC RH665 fluid. We need consistent stopping power before we add more speed. Table Data: Original: Stock Discs & Pads Current: Black Diamond G12 / PBS ProRace Target: Kit-Spec Calipers + Hyd. Handbrake
Approved / Edited

7. Wheels & Tyres

Description: Priority #1. Grip is the ultimate performance factor. We're hunting for a set of secondhand wheels to wrap in proper tarmac rally tyres. Great brakes are useless if the tyres can't transfer that force to the road! Table Data: Original: Stock 17" Alloys Current: Team Dynamics Motorsport Target: Speedline 2118 + Hankook Rally Tyres
Approved / Edited

8. Underbody Protection

Description: To protect the engine and gearbox from rocks and heavy landings, a full-length, 8mm thick alloy "sump guard" will be fitted to the car's underside. We will also add kevlar or composite guards to protect the fuel tank and brake lines. Table Data: Original: Plastic Splash Guard Current: Stock (None) Target: 8mm Alloy Sump Guard
Approved / Edited

9. Exterior Styling

Description: We've added our own decals and a QR code to the existing livery. We fitted mudflaps, but lost the left ones on a country lane! Replacements (and more sponsor decals) are arriving today to complete the rally look. Table Data: Original: 2010 Cup Replica Wrap Current: Wrap + Mudflaps + QR Code Target: Roof Vent + Full Team Livery
Approved / Edited
